I’ve used minute rice over 45 years. My husband and I were glad when the individual rice cups out. We always used the white rice. When our started carrying the brown rice it was perfect. Until! You knew that was coming lol. The last 2 packages of the brown rice definitely had issues. The first 2 were hard even after microwaving them for 1 minute. Thought just that one container was bad so we did the 2nd one in the package. Again same results. We tried microwaving longer and no difference add water no difference. So threw away. We stilled believed it was a one off. Just used the white rice and went on our way. When I went to Walmart Friday I picked up another pack of brown rice. I checked experation dates , 04/2023, 009M241, 00:00. Well today we had the same problem Hard as a rock. Now the first pkg I’ll chalk it up to a bad batch. This time I think a problem with the product. I’m not one to complain to companies. I don’t want anything. I just want the product fixed and live up to the brand I’ve trusted all these years

I went to go use my rice tonight and noticed some discolored pieces that I had seen while using this bag and just thought they were extra dry? I was trying to justify it, lol. There were a lot more tonight though so I shook the bag up and that’s when the mold pieces showed up. It looks like they were all along the bottom seal, like it had a leak maybe? Might be a store issue but thought I’d mention it in case some other concerns come up. |

Hi,
I just have a comment. I bought Minute Rice as I always do and kept it in the cupboard in the same space. A few days ago I cooked about 2 cups and did nothing different. The rice smelled and tasted different so I threw it out and cooked 2 more cups but the same thing happened. I checked the expiry date and it reads; 2023 DE26. It looks like normal rice when raw and has no smell, only smells/taste weird once it is cooked. I saved a baggy full in case you want me to send it.

Cx claimed she found a black spot that could be mold or that somebody has spilled something into it.
The agent elaborated black rice could also be scorched rice, hence agent requested pictures in order to have an accurate report, and explained we have a quality system in place that is taken very seriously.
Cx did not made a picture of the issue, as per Cx, this was not requested by the previous agent.
Cx does not want to cooperate, she just did not want to feed "that" to her husband which was at the hospital, Cx wanted to be assisted immediately. The agent informed that, before proceding, we have t be certain of what the issue is and requested for pictures when the Cx is back home. Cx claimed she had already gone out of her way to get a picture of the product info (Cx is not willing to submit such picture). The Cx seems to be speaking to a cahsier at that moment, cashier sounds are heard in the background). Cx was upset when the agent asked if these number matches the box with the issue. Cx requested to speak with the previous REP and claimed he did not ask for pictures of the issue, just the product info. She threatens she'll not buy the product anymore. The agent explained we all follow the procedure and since she is not certain of the issue, the agent requested pictures and to make it easier, requested the email address. Cx provided the email twice ins such a fast way that made it impossible for the agent to take it.
Cx requested for a SUP and requested to be transferred immediately to either a SUP, to the previous REP, or to the corporate office. The agent Descalated and requested the email one more time. Upon request, Cx provided her email at a very very slow pace. Cx requested the agent's name and claimed that any other help offered by the agent will be an oxymoron.

I purchased a box of 10 Minute Success boil-in-bag quinoa today and when I opened it there was approximately a teaspoon of the product in the bottom of the box (not in a bag) I wasn’t too concerned about it because I thought maybe it was just extra from the production line. When I took out a bag I noticed several larger holes near the top. I did not see any sort of insects or other things in the box however these holes Will make it impossible to cook as intended. each of the bags have similar holes. I have included a picture from the top of the box as well as a picture showing the holes I am referring to. Please let me know if you need further information.

I am writing to complain about a very gross experience with your instant rice cups. The cups were purchased in August and had a best before date of May 2023 yet when the cup was opened the rice was brown and mouldy and completely spoiled. I have a picture I can email with the date stamp on it etc.
